Hi. My name is Ryan, and I'm addicted to writing songs. Some are great, some are fine, some are probably terrible (depending on your perspective), but all of them seem to hold a special place in my heart.

Which brings me to "RCHIVES" - a collection of 28 demos of songs that have never seen the light of day...until now. All of these tunes, for whatever reason, were left on the cutting room floor, never properly recorded by Extra Arms (or any of my other bands) and left to lay dormant on an old computer for perhaps all eternity. But if this pandemic afforded me anything, it has been some extra time to be creative. So I dug up all these old songs and gave em a facelift - that meant remixing some, and finishing others. It was a fun trip down memory lane, and there were some surprises in there. Like, why did I write a song about my now dead cat and dog? How many songs can one guy write about quitting drinking or being in a kind of popular band once (A LOT, turns out)?

At any rate, I hope you enjoy listening to this admittedly ridiculous number of little songs that could (but never did) and allow them a moment in the sun before I move on to whatever is next. Thanks for listening!
