When I was learning how to write songs and play guitar as a teenager, my parents bought me a 4 track for Christmas. Maybe because I was too lazy or an idiot, I never really figured out how to make it work. At some point it got loaned out to a friend and I never saw it again.

So in that spirit I decided to make up some songs that may have been the kind of music I would have written and recorded on that 4 track, had it not gone missing. Inspired by the likes of Eric's Trip and Sebadoh, the songs are intentionally lo-fi sounding and not particularly labored over. They are, however, very loud and fuzzy. I'm pretty sure I lost some hearing making this one, especially since I wrote, recorded and mixed the whole thing in a single day.
